Very much enjoyed my evening stay here. The room was perfectly compact and efficient with a very comfortable bed. It's conveniently placed close enough to the town centre with a lovely walk to and from. Will certainly be looking to stay again in the future! - Dudley R
A group of 7 of us stayed during the weekend. The host Arthur allowed us to check in early so that we could explore York as had travelled 4 hours. Our rooms were convenient and had what we needed, beds were extremely comfortable and Arthur had done his best to keep the rooms as cool as possible in the midst of a heatwave. He was very accommodating and a perfect host. Breakfast the next day was prompt and efficient, choice of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit and traditional full English modified upon asking. Service was excellent.This bed and breakfast is very traditional, very efficient and conveniently placed a 20 minute from the city with excellent hosts. I would definitely stay there again. - L
